In both modes : charge your batteries before use!   The one flaw we were not able to get past was the controller can either charge the battery OR power the Game Box.

If you need to lookup your controller layout or learn how to customize it at https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/RetroArch-Configuration

In quick game mode, this is a true Altoids-box build.  Self contained, self powered, no network required.  In Advanced Game Mode, you need a USB hub & a plug-in power source while in use.

For quick game mode, you can play the Console-type Atari, Nintendo or Sega games :

For Advanced Game Mode you can play with the Arcade Games, the Apple II, PC, Amiga Emulators, the ports, and the really old late 1970s and early 1980s games!

For all other questions, poke around the RetroPie WIKI : https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki

There are dozens of other systems and PORT games you can learn to load in and configure.  Systems such as ScummVM and Amiga are already appearing in your menu, but you can add more just by adding the needed ROM and BIOS files. You can use a USB stick, or you can use FTP/SFTP when you get WiFi enabled and your Game Box is internet enabled.

Next Project :  Pi-Based 7″ tablet with two low-band radio frequencies, a FONA based cellphone, MMS, SMS, and a self-contained power source.
